An attitude of worship and prayer
Please be in an attitude of prayer before
entering the sanctuary. Pray while the rabbis are preparing
for services. This is not a time to visit, chat, or ask the
rabbis or rebbitzins questions or ask for counseling. Please
refer to our office hours to know when to call to set up an
appointment for questions and counseling. If it is important
to you, we want to devote undivided attention to you at the
appropriate time.
Modest and Moral
Apparel
Please be mindful of NOT wearing
tight or form-fitted pants, tops, or dresses. Please make
sure cleavage is covered completely and tops/dresses have
sleeves.
Squirming and moving
around?
Please refrain from entering or exiting
the sanctuary during the reading of the liturgy and the
procession, reading, or recession of the Torah unless it’s
an emergency. We want to give HaShem and the rabbis our
complete attention and respect during this time. Those who
need to leave the service, please do so quietly and
expediently as not to interrupt. DO NOT congregate outside
of the service. Parents: If you have children ages 11 years
or less, please tend to their needs.
Please leave only when
absolutely necessary
Those who have medical needs or
children ages 12 years or more must stay in the service and
leave only when absolutely necessary and re-enter quickly
and quietly between prayers. Again, DO NOT congregate
outside of the sanctuary. This is not a time to socialize.
We hope this provides everyone the opportunity for
dedicated, attentive, and respectful worship before the King
of Kings.
